How to Raise a Complaint
Last updated: October 2026
We want every homeowner who reaches out to Actingnecessarily Restoration to be treated fairly and honestly. If something went wrong, tell us. This page shows how to file a complaint and what happens afterward. It is a general template, not legal advice.
What Can You Bring to Us?
You can write to us about:
- Your experience when you called or contacted Actingnecessarily Restoration
- The way your personal information was handled
- Anything on this website that seems unclear or wrong
- How a provider we connected you with behaved
What If the Problem Is With a Provider?
Providers in our network are independent businesses. Each one answers for its own estimates, pricing, work and customer service. If you are unhappy with work done in your home, the usual first step is to raise it with the provider directly and keep a written record.
Please still let us know. Feedback about providers helps keep our network honest, and providers who often fall short of our expectations may be removed. Keep in mind that Actingnecessarily Restoration cannot settle contract disputes, refund money for a provider's work or make decisions for a provider.
How Do You File One?
Email contact@actingnecessarily.garden and include:
- Your name and a way to reach you
- The date you contacted us or the provider
- The phone number you called or the form you used, if you recall
- The provider's name, if you know it
- A clear account of what happened and the outcome you would like
What Comes After You Write?
We will confirm receipt by email, usually within a few business days. Then we review what happened, which may include reaching out to the provider. After that, we reply with what we found and any steps we are taking.
What If You Still Feel Unheard?
If our answer does not satisfy you, reply and ask us to take another look. You may also contact your state's consumer protection office or attorney general, or your local Better Business Bureau. For concerns about licensed contractors, your state's contractor licensing board may be able to help.
